Cosmo VoxBox

I figured I should let you all know where the heck I am getting these free products to try out, well... I am a member of Influenster and receive free products to review and rate. This month I got a Cosmo VoxBox. Inside was a bottle of Forever Red Perfume (see my blog post below), some Ghiradelli Sea Salt Escapes Chocolate (OH so delicious), two Pilot FriXion erasable gel ink pens (verdict is still out, but so far I am loving these!), and a Venus razor by Gillette with a refill blade and coupon (see OTHER blog post below). I am really enjoying being able to try out new products without having to put any money in ahead of time! Hopefully I will get more of these in the future so I can continue to educate my peers on these great products! Let's hear it for Influenster!! WOOO!

Forever Red

I love getting perfume samples! There are sooooooo many perfumes I absolutely hate hate hate because they are too floral, too pungent, too artificial, etc. It is nice to be able to try a perfume with the decent sized sample bottle given to me by Influenster care of Bath and Body Works.

Forever Red is a lovely scent, its not floral or musky, its hard to describe. I think the best word to describe this perfume is delicate. It feels light and sensual on your skin. It's not a sexy date night perfume, but also not strictly a daytime perfume. I've really been enjoying this pleasant scent. My only criticism is that the scent does not seem to be as long lasting as higher end designer perfumes. However, if you aren't looking to spend $80 on a bottle of perfume but still want something that smells designer, Forever Red is your bottle. Thanks again Influenster!

Venus Razor

So my Influenster VoxBox came with a really nice Venus Razor and refill head. I usually don't buy this razor unless I have some crazy coupon deal that makes it only $1.99 (it has happened before I swear!), so it was nice to get it for free to try it! I was not surprised that the shave felt so smooth, as the razor head has GIANT lotion bars surrounding it. I really liked how it felt around my knees and underarms. I usually use men's 3-blade disposables so it was nice to have a lady's razor for once. One thing that did surprise me was how LONG it held up! Here is a picture of it after 2 solid weeks of use:

No rust on the blades and the lotion bars are barely dented! I think this razor might be worth the money. Now, I won't be paying full price, because that is against my nature, but Gillette so nicely sent me a $2/1 coupon for some refills! WOOOP! Thanks Influenster!
